Goodbye
Memories that cling on
like superglue to your shoes
It's always hard to
forget even after so long
Time to move on now
not to a better place
To just keep walking
down the golden brick road
Farewells are always
not easy to leave my mouth
We'll do better I'm sure
than we ever were before
Goodbye.
like superglue to your shoes
It's always hard to
forget even after so long
Time to move on now
not to a better place
To just keep walking
down the golden brick road
Farewells are always
not easy to leave my mouth
We'll do better I'm sure
than we ever were before
Goodbye.
This Brick Road
Dare I tread this
old golden brick road?
Dare I walk down
this river called hope?
Don't want to draw
blood out of you
Don't want to see
you bleed and cry
Maybe you already knew
what I have in mind
Already seen the warning
signs in the sky
May I be bold like
the lion in the den
Fearless like Spartans
of old ancient Greece
And perhaps I'll hold
your dainty hand
as we stroll down
this golden brick road
old golden brick road?
Dare I walk down
this river called hope?
Don't want to draw
blood out of you
Don't want to see
you bleed and cry
Maybe you already knew
what I have in mind
Already seen the warning
signs in the sky
May I be bold like
the lion in the den
Fearless like Spartans
of old ancient Greece
And perhaps I'll hold
your dainty hand
as we stroll down
this golden brick road
