watever this maybe III

met a pretty superstar
coursing thru the sky
shining purple and pink
brightly in the dark sky

my orbs went ballistic
as she waltzed by
my heart dancing to
the rhythm of the dance

soon my orbital began
around this pretty superstar
till it came to a fiery end
as i crash and burn to a crisp

as i dodge the hurricane
from sweeping me away
i smell the scent of the superstar
rising from the ashes of past

the heat is so intense
i am putty in her hands
make me or break me
who am i to know?

so don't copy N'SYNC
a puppet on strings.
or make me into a yoyo,
to go through high and lows.

scars from the distant past
are still fresh for all to see
may they be fully healed
and never to be ripped again

so i cry out to heaven
that far away be it from me
i'll rather be tossed
than to be burned once again.

this is to u Ray!

well ray, this's kinda inspired by u... so if u ever read this.. just take a bow.

one day i met a girl.
she was hurricane personified.
as she came storming down
on my little world.

she was unique, different.
wildness tempered with innocence.
no wonder guys swarm ard her
like bees to honey

as i typed, people read.
not a lot but not that few
got to know how i felt
abt this destructive force.

alas, i'm getting caught in the hurricane.
oh someone pls save me
before i get lost again
in the sea of emotions.

these three i thank now
Cyn, Ray and Ying
isn't it amazing,
that u three will make me CRY?

thanks for your counsel,
both harsh and soothing words
so stand with me this hour
as i resist this hurricane

though i yearn to be caught in it,
my spirit cries otherwise
and years of sharpening,
has taught me to heed its cry.

so thank you for reading. this's been something by peter. =)

first attempt at songwriting. lol.. =0

hmm.. just trying to write some stuff..poem/songs/wat nots? save paper.. write here.
Untitled. copyrighted fisherock. pls use with permission. thx.

as i walk day by day
i used to walk all alone
but now everything's changed
for i've got someone here with me

for You will walk with me
and talk to me
and made me feel
like someone

CHORUS:
You are the One.
number 1 in my heart
i live for You.
i love You.

BRIDGE:
Give you my heart
Give u my soul
Give u everything.

so let's go for a ride
on the roller coaster
for i know i'm safe.
safe with You.

something that i saw on some guy's blog =)

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with Jesus Christ. He asks one of his new students to stand...

Prof: You are a Christian, aren't you, son?
Student: Yes, sir.
Prof: So you believe in God?
Student: Absolutely, sir.
Prof: Is God good?
Student: Sure.
Prof: Is God all-powerful?
Student: Yes.
Prof: My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to Jesus to heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But Jesus didn't. How is this Jesus good then? Hmm?

(The student is silent.)

Prof: You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?
Student: Yes.
Prof: Is Satan good?
Student: No.
Prof: Where does Satan come from?
Student: From...God...
Prof: That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student: Yes.
Prof: Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student: Yes.
Prof: So who created evil?

(The student does not answer.)

Prof: Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
Student: Yes, sir.
Prof: So, who created them?

(The student has no answer.)

Prof: Tell me, son. Do you believe in Jesus Christ?
Student: Yes, professor, I do.
Prof: Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you. Have you ever seen Jesus?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Tell us if you have ever heard your Jesus?
Student: No, sir.
Prof: Have you ever felt your Jesus, tasted your Jesus, smelt your Jesus? Have you ever had any sensory perception of Jesus Christ or God for that matter?
Student: No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Prof: Yet you still believe in Him?
Student: Yes.
Prof: According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your God doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student: Nothing. I only have my faith.
Prof: Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.

(The student is silent for a moment)

Student: Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof: Yes.
Student: And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof: Yes.
Student: No sir. There isn't.

(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events)

Student: Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, megaheat, white heat, a little heat or no heat. But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that. There is no such thing as cold. Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it.

(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)

Student: What about darkness, professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof: Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?
Student: You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright light, flashing light.....But if you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make darkness darker, wouldn't you?
Prof: So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student: Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof: Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student: Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one. To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it. Now tell me, professor. Do you teach
your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof: If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student: Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)

Student: Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavour, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher?

(The class is in uproar)

Student: Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the professor's brain?

(The class breaks out into laughter)

Student: Is there anyone here who has ever heard the professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it?.....No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir. With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?

(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable)

Prof: I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.

super random furry moolie thots

attended like 2 music performances in a wk.. ok.. so from a daily blog.. this has become a weekly or depends on inspiration period blog. just want to talk abt sonicfest. wat is sonicfest? it's a chrisitian music festival. and i was pretty impressed by the bands that were up there.. even though one of them, sky in euphoria, i can't even make up wat they were singing about or playing.. it was just grunting and bouncing ard on stage.. and a few groupies trying to make a fool of themselves. Corevial.. a band from our church got the most support at noon.. cos a lot of our church ppl were there.. like ard 10. that's a lot.. wish they had stick ard for the other stuff too. i guess i was pretty impressed by Ad_He_Sive. they're a kiwi band. and they rock. oh yeah. i was there quietly enjoying the music and taking it all in thru the eardrums. i tink when we go on stage to perform.. wat makes us stand out as Christians is the material that we sing. we got to sing stuff abt God to God. if not.. it'll be no different from anyother thing out there. wish one day i'll be up there singing stuff that we wrote abt God, for God to God. that'll be cool. yeah. realise that it's so hard to really be a leader. u gotta stand out. u'll never be Mr Popular cos u have to make unpopular decisions. i realise i got a lot of work to do to be a leader. and i thank God He's placing me in a training ground right now. i guess one thing that a leader has to do is to hold the group together and not let it split here and there. with God.. all things are possible. amen. i believe God will develop me into a leader with my own style of doing things and things still work out well. amen. i gotta watch myself. i'm starting to get closer with her. i dont want to fall head over heels with her. though she's quite a looker. lol. it's not my time and it's not my season. sometimes i wonder y do temptations look so gd. i think they have to so that they can tempt ya. =) it's really time to arrange my priorities. and God is going to be numero uno. i will do my best to ensure. i want to be faithful.
